Graphic Dressing

I love the graph print seen everywhere at the moment so I thought I'd give it a go and bought this dress from in the Topshop sale (you find such treasures in there). It's so easy to wear and can be dressed up or down and worn with or, without tights for a more dressed-up look.

Of course, I wore it with my favorite Boldy Bare lip look!

I also paired it with my favorite chunky black booties.

Hope you like!

My Tanning Love Affair

This product has been my love affair for the last four years, and I could absolutely not live without it! Anyone who knows me will know that I love a tan, but not the horrific streaky, bed-sheet-ruining, towel-browning fake tan type. So when I came across this product, all of my dreams came true!
Garnier Summer Body Moisturiser has solved all of my tanning woes and it is a simple, gradual tanning moisturiser.

I tend to go for the 'deep sun kissed look' but there is a slightly lighter one if you have a fairer skin tone. It's relatively cheap at around £5 and I find the bottle usually lasts me about a month. You should start to see results in about three days when your skin will be giving off a lovely radiant glow!

Oh and make sure you use a tanning mit, no one likes to see orange hands!!

A Vintage Find!

So, I was casually rummaging through my loft, looking for books when I came across treasure! An Emporio Armani cropped jacket; and in my all time favorite hound-tooth print! It turns out it was my Mum's from back in the day when she was a big-shot-Armani-wearing business lady.

Although the jacket has humongous shoulder pads (which I am not a fan of), I thought I would have a go at styling it up a bit and I accidentally fell in love with it along the way.

I guess Mum will be sharing this one with me now (or not)!

Tickling My Spring Fancy

These pieces are all tickling my fancy for this spring, I'm aiming for a minimal, pastel wardrobe:
Bag: Ted Baker
Shoes: Missguided
Sunnies: Ray Ban
Jeans: Escada
Nail Polish: RGB

Obviously some of these a are a little out of my price range, but we can all dream, right?

Getting Lippy

Girls seem to be getting more and more lippy. And by that, I mean the average lip size seems to have gained a few mm (in some cases, a few too many). Although I'm personally not into the over-drawing-your-lips craze, I do love the bold but bare lip colour seen on more and more celebrities (including of course, Kylie Jenner). These are my two absolute go-to products to achieve my favourite nude lip.

Firstly, Mac lip pencil in Boldy Bare; this is perfect for lining your lips or even going over the whole lot.

I like to pair this with Estee Lauder Hydra Lustre Lipstick in Tender Mauve.

This really is my favorite every day lip look- perfect for the day and night!

Valentines Choccy Treats

It's that time of year again, some hate it, but some LOVE it- there is no escaping the red fluffy hearts, smug couples and red glitter. So to join in the Valentines antics, I thought I would post a little treat how-to for all of you to enjoy alone, or with a loved one (I personally prefer to eat these alone). How to make French chocolate truffles:

 1. Gently boil 175g of double cream, take off the heat and add the plain chocolate (chopped,270g), stir until melted. Then add the butter (25g) and again, stir until melted. Cover this mixture and chill in the fridge for at least an hour.

 2. Line a baking tray/lunchbox with baking paper, using your hands, form the mixture into small (or big) chocolate balls.

 3. To coat the truffles in cocoa: drop the truffles in one by one making sure they are all covered. Then chill.

4. To coat the truffles in chocolate: freeze truffles for around 1 hour. Then melt the milk/white/plain chocolate (200g) over some boiling water, take off the heat and leave to cool for a few seconds. Now, using a fork dip each truffle into the chocolate until covered and then place onto the lined tray/lunch box. Chill ASAP.
I also decorated mine with a little coloured chocolate piping (I know, check me out!)

These can be stored for about a week so you have plenty of time to enjoy (although I did eat them all in one sitting)!

Enjoy!
